Batch names are the most important piece of information when buying Jordan reps. This guide explains what each batch name means, which batches are recommended for which models, and how to use batch information when placing an order.
Batch names like LJR, PK, H12, and OG are factory/production shorthand used by the rep community. Each name represents a specific manufacturer or production line. The same batch name applied to different models may produce different quality scores because factories have different levels of tooling investment per model. LJR Jordan 1 scores 90/100; LJR Jordan 5 scores 82/100 — because LJR's Jordan 5 tooling is less developed than their Jordan 1 tooling.
Batch names do not appear on official product branding. They exist purely in the community as shared shorthand for quality tiers. When ordering, specify the batch name to your agent — this is how you ensure you receive the quality tier you researched.
LJR is the community's top-tier batch for Jordan 1 and Jordan 4. Jordan 1 LJR scores 90/100 ($55–$80) — the highest score in the Jordan rep market. Jordan 4 LJR scores 86/100 ($55–$80). LJR's premium reflects genuine tooling investment: heel tab swoosh angle (Jordan 1) and wing eyelet translucency (Jordan 4) are both correctly produced at LJR, while lower batches compromise these specific points.
LJR is not the top batch for every Jordan model. Jordan 5 LJR scores 82/100 versus H12 Jordan 5 at 85/100 — H12's J5 specific tooling is stronger. Always check model-specific batch recommendations rather than assuming LJR is the best choice for every model.
PK batch scores 88/100 on Jordan 1 High at $50–$70 shipped — 2 points below LJR at $10–15 lower cost. For most Jordan 1 buyers, PK batch is the recommendation because the quality difference versus LJR is subtle and the community documentation at PK is deeper. More buyers have documented PK batch Jordan 1 QC than any other batch-model combination.
PK batch is not the top option for Jordan 4 or Jordan 5. It is primarily a Jordan 1 specialist batch at the community level. For other models, check H12, LJR, or OG depending on the model-specific guide.
H12 batch is the community top pick for Jordan 5 (85/100, $50–$70) and Jordan 11 (84/100, $45–$65). On both models, H12's specific tooling outperforms LJR — the reflective tongue and lace aglet weight on Jordan 5, and the patent leather gloss and carbon plate texture on Jordan 11, are all better at H12 for these models.
H12 is not the top batch for Jordan 1 or Jordan 4. On those models, H12 scores lower than LJR and PK (Jordan 1 H12: 76/100; Jordan 4 H12: 73/100). The model-specific nature of H12's advantages is important: do not apply the same batch recommendation across all models.
OG batch represents mid-tier production across all Jordan models. OG Jordan 1: 79/100, $40–$55. OG Jordan 4: 79/100, $40–$55. OG Jordan 3: 80/100, $40–$55 (top tier for J3). OG batch is acceptable for casual wear and is the minimum tier the community recommends for any Jordan rep purchase. Budget batch below OG is generally not recommended.
